Experienced housewives know how to melt butter. It is important to take a high-quality product with 82.5% fat content - this is the kind of oil that is produced under the Ekomilk brand.
There are three ways to make ghee:
- In a water bath. Take two containers of different diameters and place one in the other. Pour water into a larger dish; put oil in a smaller dish. Put the structure on fire and wait for the water to boil. Gradually, the oil will begin to melt under the influence of hot water vapor.
- In the microwave. Put the container with oil in the microwave, start the “warm-up” mode. It is important to control the process, since when overheating, the oil boils, foams and spills outside the dishes.
- Over the hotplate. For this you need a stewpan with a thick bottom. Set the burner temperature sensor to minimum and melt the oil, stirring constantly. It is important not to bring the product to a boil - as soon as foam appears on the surface, remove the saucepan from the stove.
