There is nothing special to spread, but since the summer I have a photo report about painting the guitar. So I’ll share it.
At first, the guitar looked like a classic strat, which two years later was a bit fed up. Since the guitar was very cheap, China decided to experiment, all the more so in the pantry lay a container with craquelure paint.
That's how she looked before painting.
To begin with, I took it apart and sanded it so that the soil lay down well
Next is the primer. I don’t remember exactly how many layers, but it seems like two.
Well, the painting itself.
But such cracks gives this paint.
While the case is drying, he took up the vulture. The fret pad was sealed with masking tape so as not to be painted over accidentally.
And on the vulture I put a rokish inscription. And then it’s empty somehow
Then he covered the whole thing with varnish and proceeded to the rest of the fittings, unfortunately I did not take a photo, but painted all the metal parts in gold color. And I glued a bunch of stickers on the pad. To punk like that
Well, it remains to collect all this. Here is the result. I really liked it
Oh yes, hello to those commentators who “well, you ruined the guitar”, etc. So, at the time of painting, the guitar was already holding the line poorly and it was impossible to properly adjust the scale of the first three strings. And it’s also the cheapest China, but since this is my first electric guitar, I would like to give it an older, decorative look and now it hangs, the eye pleases. Sometimes I play it. Something like that.
